Human activities such as business, management take place within an extensive framework of law, and some people hold that law is the only set of rules that applies to business and management activity. The reason that lead people to hold this view are varied, but two predominate. Law, not ethics, is the only relevant guide.

Law comes depressed and applies the punishment for any violation or destruction. Law comes on the compliance of the society and the state at end. The sanction should be more if the violation has been known commonly. Moral norms should not be depressed. The only sanction on moral is uncomfortable being for ever. Moral norms pass by human beings individually and socially.

Despite their differences, Law and Ethics have the same practical implication. This implication is not only false but also highly dangerous. As a practical matter, then, managers need to consider both ethical and legal aspects of a situation in making a decision for many reasons.

Some considerations are supposed below. Regardless of the view that a practicing manager takes on the relation of law and ethics, reliance on the law alone is a prescription for disaster, as many individuals and firms have discovered. Managers really need consider only the law in making decisions.
